Common reactions include redness, tightness, dryness, peeling or flaking, swelling, sensitivity, temporary darkening before peeling, and mild itching. Visible peeling often begins several days after treatment and may continue for approximately one week.

First 24–48 Hours

Avoid touching or picking the skin, exercise or sweating, excessive heat, saunas, steam rooms, hot showers, makeup unless advised, and active skincare including retinoids, AHAs and BHAs.

Days 2–7

Keep the skin hydrated, avoid exfoliating products, avoid picking the skin, wear SPF 50+ daily, and avoid direct sun exposure.

Week 1–2

Avoid aggressive skin treatments, waxing, laser treatments, excessive exfoliation, and excessive sun exposure until fully healed.

Please contact the clinic promptly if you experience increasing pain, excessive swelling, blistering, signs of infection, persistent redness, unusual discharge, or any symptoms causing concern.
